The next step for the intake process is an in-person meeting. We will walk-thru the existing space(s) (or talk through spaces if they don’t exist yet), talk about your wants and needs both aesthetically and functionally, and discuss design services that would be needed to execute the project. This meeting is an opportunity to make sure we are a good fit for each other.

After a scope of work and a Letter of Agreement is established, the design process begins. All existing conditions will be documented and a field measure is completed. That information is then put into CAD.

A preliminary floorplan is important to establish pretty early on. There may be one clear direction that covers all functional goals, or there may be multiple options that work. A set of drawings will be sent over for your approval.

The spec process involves selecting and quoting all materials and furniture that will be provided. Once this internal process is complete, an on-site meeting is scheduled for a presentation. If your project also requires a construction process, the initial site visits and quoting process are kicked off at this step.

At this stage in the design process, all materials and furniture are ordered. Orders are tracked and received, and then deliveries are coordinated for everything to get on site.

If your project involves a construction process, it is important that the construction team is communicating and collaborating with us. This balance of talents working in conjunction ensures the best possible outcome.
